YouthNet Board Members attend monthly virtual meetings. Board Members use a variety of skills and expertise to brainstorm programming ideas, write articles for publication, social media posts, document and photograph programs, craft fundraising letters and campaigns, cultivate sponsors, mentors and establish and maintain relationships with local businesses and build community!
Our youth programs are designed to help young people develop important life skills, make new friends, and have fun. We offer programs in areas such as sports, arts, and leadership development through our Middle School Clubs, Open Gym, Chat & Snack and Internship/Mentor Programs. Help us brainstorm new ideas, grow and improve our existing programs.
Each year we engage in our annual letter writing/fundraising campaign to reach out to potential donors for support. Do you have a way with words and want to help craft our campaign?
Help us keep our Facebook, Instagram and website up to date by generating posts. Do you love taking photos? Help us document our Clubs and Programs. Are you a budding journalist? Help us craft articles for local publications throughout the year.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of sponsors and grants to continue our work. Cultivating local sponsors and identifying and applying for grants can make a big difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
Coming Soon! YouthNet is preparing a rollout of our new Mental Health Initiative as part of our middle school clubs program. The program will include training teacher-mentors and providing tools and support to help young people navigate the challenges of growing up.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved with our organization, please complete the VOLUNTEER APPLICATION. We'd love to hear from you!
