Like many others locally and worldwide, YouthNet has been impacted by inflation and rising costs associated with running our programs in a most cost-efficient way. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with limited funds, YouthNet struggles to be sustainable year after year. Add to that the decrease in enrollment due to the increase of work-from-home options and overall pandemic hardships, our hopes of increasing student enrollment have not been realized and we have been operating at a loss for months.
We are very sorry to announce that we will be discontinuing the Extended Enrichment Program starting January 1, 2023. During this break, we hope to regroup and revamp the program to its fullest potential and capacity. Our aim is to rebrand and reopen a better and more comprehensive EEP in the Fall of 2023. We are deeply sorry to have to take this step, and understand that it may create difficulties with after school child care to the program participants .
An excellent option for the working parent, YouthNet's Extended Enrichment Program (EEP) provides a safe, familiar environment involving both creativity and learning after school. YouthNet adds unique value to the middle school experience by offering a wide array of after-school activities that foster friendship and build community. In addition to the engaging list of clubs, additional hours for individual homework help are available.

One of the great things about the EEP is all of the things kids can try that aren't offered during school. It's the perfect low-key atmosphere to experience something new.
